John Dos Passos, author of the U.S.A. trilogy and many other works, first visited Key West in the
1920s and told his friend Ernest Hemingway about the place. He met his wife Katy at the
Hemingways' -- the couple rented this house at 1401 Pine St., then the outskirts of town,
during the winter of 1934.

Financial assistance for teachers and librarians may be full or partial, depending on demand and need. This assistance is available through the
genorosity of Judy Blume/Kids Fund.

- Please provide a letter of support from your principal or department head (may be sent electronically). In addition, please provide the email address of one additional person who is familiar with you and your work (and please let them know that we might be in touch). No request will be considered without a letter of support.
